Facts about Funerals and COVID-19

Jones-Parkview prioritizes the well-being and health of our staff, our families and the community. We understand that this is on ongoing situation and we are monitoring and evaluating developments for COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

We are an essential service for our community and we are here to seamlessly serve you during your time of loss.

We are here to navigate your losses with you and our staff is fully prepared to support you in every way possible.

We still believe that gathering and supporting one another during a time of loss is important.

We will abide by the Province of Saskatchewan’s restrictions on public gatherings.

As we monitor the situation we are looking at the options available to families we serve including web based services. We encourage our community to reach out to each family accessing their individual tribute pages at www.wjjonesandson.com or www.parkviewfuneralchapel.ca

We encourage everyone to follow the recommendations to prevent the spread of illness:

Wash your hands frequently with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds. If not available use hand sanitizer with an alcohol content of at least 60%
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands
Cover your coughs and sneezes with your arm or inner elbow
If you sneeze or cough into a tissue, discard immediately in a plastic lined garbage bin
Avoid close contact with sick people
Stay home when sick or not feeling well
